Thank you to everyone who contributed food, items and time towards our school Gala.
It was a wonderful family event, and a lot of money was raised for the school.
Lent
Remember to talk to your children about Lent.
This week we will be looking at what life is like in the Phillipines, as our school will be contributing to the Caritas appeal for the Phillipines.
Room 9 kids are awesome!
The children have settled into routines well and some excellent learning is taking place.
Our family portraits will be finished this week, so come in and see your child's beautiful art work.
You might also like to have a look through their books with them, and tell them what you like about what they have done.
Maths
Many children have requested that I put the number song on the blog so they can practice counting with it at home.
They should be able to count to 100, count back from 100, as well as know the numbers after and before any number up to 100.
As they count each "ty" number, get them to put up one finger to represent the tens.
What comes after 29?....
What comes before 60?....
How many 10's are in 100? ....
